
One of golf’s true champions, a player with courage and determination rivalling even the likes of Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, is back at the scene of one of his most heroic performances.
Erik Compton returns to Emirates Golf Club this week to compete in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, the tournament he famously competed at in 2009 just eight months after undergoing a second heart transplant.
The 30-year-old, who holds the distinction of being the only professional golfer in the world to compete with a transplanted heart, will be flying the flag for Emirates, the Official Airline of the tournament. [Read More]
