DUBAI – Mixed martial arts spectacle Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is to become an annual event on the Abu Dhabi sporting calendar, its promoters said in remarks published on Wednesday in the lead up to the first UFC event in the UAE capital.
“There is no point in doing something once,” John Lickrish, the managing director of Flash Entertainment, was quoted as saying by UAE daily the National.
“The amount of effort it takes to get things going in the first place, especially considering we don’t have a ready-made venue, are leading to an annual event.” [Read More]
