I read with interest the letter from JH in Dubai regarding the price of entertainment/sporting events and the fact that true fans are being priced out of attending.

For several years myself and a group of friends, have travelled to Dubai every March for the World Cup.

Last year we thought the dinner and beverage package we brought was expensive at nearly £300.

However this year it is going to cost this amount just to get in to a Meydan grandstand with no guarantee of a seat and food and beverages extra.
