
The 25 Dubai schools rated as ‘unsatisfactory’ have three months to lift their game.Expansion plans of about 25 public and private sector schools that are rated “unsatisfactory” by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), would be stopped if they do not improve their ratings within the next three months, the authority has said.
The DSIB found only five outstanding schools out of the 209 it rated for the year 2009-2010 with a total student capacity of 202,221. Out of 23 Indian and Pakistani schools that came under the inspection net for the first time, five schools were rated unsatisfactory. [Read More]
