(c) A one-year package of complimentary banking services, called Premier, and privileges with HSBC Bank Canada once you arrive in Canada.

(d) A complimentary two-hour meeting with a Financial Tax Planner to discuss and explain to you the Canadian tax environment.

(f) Upon landing in Canada, HSBC Bank Canada will assist you in obtaining a loan for the purchase of your home (if required).

Welcome to an overview of Canada’s Investor Immigration Program.

HSBC is a Facilitator, authorized by the Government of Canada in implementing the Immigrant Investor Program to potential immigrants around the world. While the government has three classes of “business” immigration categories, HSBC’s Global Immigrant Investor Program focuses only on the ‘Investor’ category.

This program is not for everybody. It is for those who have reached a level of success in life yet want something more. A country of beauty. A nation of opportunity. A safe and tolerant new home, for you and your family. The Immigrant Investor Program was created by the Canadian government to attract successful business immigrants like you, and to bring new investment capital to Canada. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

show that you have business experience
you must have legally obtained a minimum household net worth of CDN$800,000
pass medical and security evaluations
make a CDN$400,000 investment with the Govt. of Canada for 5 years, which can be financed with HSBC

High standards to meet. That’s where your partners at HSBC’s Global Immigrant Investor Program come in. For qualifying immigrant investors, HSBC provides a range of flexible services to meet your investment needs and to make relocation easier. Whether it’s an immigration lawyer to help you with the details of Canadian immigration processes, or banking and loan facilities, HSBC is here to help you every step of the way!

Think you qualify? Then why not take the first step. It’s easy! Simply click on the “Yes” button to the right, and fill out the online form. It will be reviewed by a member of the HSBC Global Investor Immigration Services team, who will contact you to follow-up and understand your particular circumstances.

If you don’t meet the criteria for Investor class immigration, don’t worry. The government has other classes of ‘Business’ and ‘Skilled Worker’ immigration as well. While HSBC doesn’t have specific programs for these classes, we are happy to provide links and resources that will assist you to investigate the right option for you. Click the “No” button to the right for links to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, immigration lawyers, and other helpful resources.
